Clearing the path to a sustainable LEO.
SPACEO is a Portuguese aerospace company developing ultra-light inflatable drag sails that passively de-orbit satellites at end of mission — no fuel, no thrusters, no mass penalty.
Make de-orbiting the easy part.
Low Earth orbit is filling up faster than it can clear itself. Regulation now forces every operator to plan for end-of-life disposal, yet propulsion-based solutions devour mass that should be earning revenue. We build the passive, bolt-on alternative: a drag sail that deploys at end of mission and lets residual atmospheric drag do the rest — fire and forget, with near-zero mass penalty.
